I will try to convince you with this post to stay intact with wordpress. Why? simply because it’s best platform out there. There are many cms around but wordpress being a blog platform in it’s heart still provides a lot of cms functionality even other professional cms don’t provide. To be frank I have been using wordpress as my development platform of choice for just a year or less. I was in phase of choosing a cms platform that i could comfortably work with and i am happy I choosed worpress as it’s customizable and not to complex. I tried many other options like, drupal, joomla, movable type etc etc… but what satisfied me was wordpress. It’s most actively developed and contributed opensource cms. Recent releases have been very active and there is a active community of people backing this system. Many high profile sites uses wordpress as it’s cms and blogging choice. You can see some at http://wpexpo.com (a wordpress site gallery). If you are in dilemma of choosing any platform close your eyes and choose wordpress I’m sure you will not regret.

I quickly developed a application using facebook and twitter apis. It’s up at votestatus.com.  The basic of the site is to allow vote on the status that you can post in to the twitter or facebook. You can connect to votestatus with your twitter or facebook account and then post status in votestatus.com after connected and you will get option to post the status to the facebook or twitter which you have used to connect to the site. up/down voting system is applied in the votestatus.com. This company should stop it’s service or government should ban it. The claimed speed by UTL was 128 kbps, but the fact is known my users who uses it. I used to use UTL when it had launched it’s service. In starting it’s service was excellent but the user base growth slowed it’s internet service. It didn’t updated the service but only the user base which definitely would effect the service. I am going to show you a step forward way to flash your n900 to pr1.2 from your windows pc.
1.Go here: http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/nokia_N900.php
2.Input your IMEI no. that you can get from settings > about product.
3.Download the PR 1.2 version 10.2010.19-1 from the download list.

4.Download flasher from here: http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/maemo-dev-env-downloads.php?f=maemo_flasher-3.5_2.5.2.2.exe
5. Install flasher in your pc.
6.Copy the downloaded pr1.2 image file to the flasher installed location. that would probably be at C:\Program Files\maemo\flasher-3.5 folder.
7.Open command prompt.
8.Change the directory to the flasher using the command cd C:\Program Files\maemo\flasher-3.5
9.Switch off your device and then press and hold the u key on the n900 keyboard and connect your usb cable to the pc and your n900. Your device should be now set to the flashing mode. A usb icon should appear on the upper right hand corner.
10. Run following command on the command prompt.
flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.19-1_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin -f -R
This should execute a series of command and reboot your n900 to latest pr1.2 maemo successfully.

I SEE GOOD BATTERY IMPROVEMENTs IN THIS VERSION
